Carolyn Heckman is the Associate Director of Pennsylvania Policy at the Evangelical Environmental Network. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science in Energy and Sustainability Policy and Geography minor from the Pennsylvania State University. She received a 2022 EME Student Merit Award from Penn State, which are presented to individuals who have been chosen by their program faculty members as their most talented and dedicated students based on their academic performance, industry engagement, or leadership qualities. Carolyn interned for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and ICLEI as part of their localized climate action plan, LCAP, program, drafting a climate action plan for Millersville Borough, PA. Carolyn has previously worked in conservation for the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited as their Community Engagement Coordinator. While originally from Northeast Philadelphia, Carolyn now resides in central Pennsylvania with her husband and son.
