EEN Film Festival 2023: Cowboy and Preacher
The Evangelical Environmental Network is proud to present our third annual Flourishing Future Film Festival featuring Cowboy and Preacher, a documentary film by Will Fraser.
Each April, this festival seeks to guide creation care champions in grappling with the inspiring work of land defenders and climate advocates, moving past divisive rhetoric, and creating a vision for how we can take action together for a flourishing future. Partnering with filmmakers, our goal is to explore themes of stewardship, spirituality, environmental justice, and the biblical foundation for creation care.
This event includes a virtual viewing of the film followed by a discussion with filmmaker Will Fraser and the star of the documentary, Tri Robinson.

About the Film
Tri Robinson, rancher and retired Vineyard pastor, recognizes that the Bible and the environment are by no means mutually exclusive. He has worked for decades to bring round his flock. He shows how and why Christians need to face the environmental challenges around us, and how in doing so Christians can find purposeful action and be reinvigorated as an active force for good on this issue, building bridges across social divides and presenting Christianity in its best light.
Through beautiful images that evoke America’s western mythology, a magnificent musical score, and a narrative of Biblical proportions and epic and tragic themes, Cowboy and Preacher seeks to convert the unconverted and bring transformational change and action to the battle for the environment.
