On November 6, 2021 #ClimateVigil launched in Glasgow, Scotland on the sidelines of the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference. Over 100 people gathered to sing, pray, and hold hope together. They were joined by more than 500 others gathered in homes and at satellite vigils around the world. It marked the first phase of the #ClimateVigil campaign.
Phase 2 of the campaign is in full swing, and it includes:
- The release of the full climate justice album from the Porter’s Gate Worship Project near Earth Day 2022.
- An international tour to bring the music and message of the album to Christian communities around the world.
- Plans to organize massive candlelight vigils in world capitals in 2023, including on the U.S. National Mall.
We need your help to make it happen. If you were encouraged by Phase 1 of #ClimateVigil and excited about what’s to come, will you partner with us in this work by making a financial gift?
